    I went to the practice for a consultation that I was told by Elizabeth, the receptionist, would be free. The reason I selected them in the first place was because they had said they do a first consultation at no cost. I received a bill in the mail for the consultation. I called, left a message and received no follow up. I then received another request for payment. I feel the practice was misleading from the beginning. I do not think it is right to tell someone the consultation is free and then send a bill and I hope that other potential patients are made aware of this before entering into the situation I am in. I would like the bill to be waived and for them to be honest and forthcoming with patients about what their consultations cost.

    Patient called on 7/11/23 to schedule an
    evaluation, speaking with our New Patient Coordinator, Elizabeth. At no time
    was she ever advised that we “do a first consultation at no cost” because that
    has never been a policy of our practice. 
    The New Patient Intake Sheet even notes that Elizabeth advised patient
    of the fee of $182 for the evaluation.  We
    have never encountered such an issue with other patients.  We are always very forthcoming with information
    about our patients’ first appointment with us as we want them to have the best
    experience possible.  We believe the more
    prepared our patients are and know what to expect, the better their experience with
    our practice is. We fully prepare patients for all costs associated with their
    upcoming appointments. To avoid any further discussions on this matter we have written off patient's balance of $182 and consider this matter to be closed.
