Company took money from checking account totalling $350 without any notification. Never received a bill. When called stated it was per their policy and nothing they could do. Stated I wanted a copy of the form that states this policy, never received it. Filed grievance with bank, awaiting results from them

I went in to be treated for an asthma attack. When I went up to the desk, the registration woman took my info and checked me in. I was audibly wheezing, short of breath & rapidly breathing. Stacy & Luke were both at the desk. They were discussing celebrities, superbowl & Luke was scrolling through ******** on a work computer. Did not address me once at the desk. Being a past emergency healthcare worker, I was appalled. Thank God I know my body & what kind of shape I was in.
Once checked in, Stacy took me back to a room. She did not take the time to get accurate blood pressure. In fact, she made it up. I could feel my pulse when she stopped pumping up the cuff & attempted to listen. She gave a bogus # that was within a normal range, even though I was tachycardic. She had trouble getting the pulse ox to read & quickly took it off the moment there was a number present .
Stacy went to get Luke and a treatment. Luke came in, REAKING of cigarettes. It was so strong it made my breathing worse, and it lingered after he left the room. Luke only listened to the top quadrants of my lungs before the first treatment and asked if I needed to go to the ER. I told him no, and all I needed was a treatment or two, maybe a steroid I would be fine (urgent care is equipped to handle asthma attacks).
Neither one of them stayed in the room while I was given my first treatment (there was only one other patient in the building). After the first treatment, Luke rechecked my lungs sounds but only in the top quadrants. I requested one more treatment because my chest was still pretty tight.
Luke never rechecked for lung sounds after my last treatment. I was basically kicked out of urgent care.
Both of them need to be retrained in how to handle medical urgency, how to take vitals, & what appropriate conversations are in front of patients.
Luke, get a nicotine patch. Don't subject others and asthma patients to your second hand smoke. Do better.

Totally a for profit business. No matter the illness, they want patients to register and be seen, even if patients require a higher level of care. Providers are inconsistent, staff is clearly unhappy. Very limited resources for a so called urgent care. No x-rays, despite the website stating they do offer x-rays. Overcharging for services to get the most out of insurance. It's a horrid place to try to get care.

This urgent care is awful. It’s close to home and im a brain patient it’s hard to drive far. I’ve been there 3 times and my experiences were horrific, dirty, extremely rude employees very unprofessional. They do not care about their patients. The ma couldn’t even get a blood pressure because “she was new”. If you can’t take a blood pressure you really shouldn’t be working in an urgent care. I really hope they get people in the office to make some huge changes.

The office staff/billing department has no clue what they are doing at the Milford location. They also have no cares in helping you as long as they get their money somehow even when is not correct, they are good. My son was seen there on 3/14/24 where they had me fill out several sheets of paperwork to which insurance wad filled out and insurance card copy was given. When they sent in a claim they did NOT send to correct insurance and therefore received a notice back denying the claim. To which they decided to just go ahead charge the card on file without even sending me a bill of any kind. When I called them about this they tried to tell me its was because my son wasn't on the new insurance when they submitted it so this was why. Which is not true because if they submitted it and he wasn't on it a claim would still show as denied just like it did when they sent it to my insurance (which was incorrect to begin with). We have been to this location through the years before and it has been fine but the last few years this is the 2nd occurrence of them just charging us whatever they feel like and having no bill sent out. I would not recommend this location as we will NOT be back ourselves.

In November 2023 I went to the CareFirst Urgent Care on ***************** in ********** ** to have a splinter removed from my finger. When checking in, I asked attendant for an indication into the average billing for an office visit -- which he was not able to give me. I had my vitals taken (5 minutes) an assessment with Nurse Practitioner (less than 5 minutes) who's service was to suggest a flight of antibiotics, which I refused. I left the care facility and went on my merry way. Fast forward two weeks and CareFirst bills my insurance provider $430 for the 60-to-75-minute visit including an additional $25 weekend surcharge!! Insurance discounted that charge by $268 so my credit card was automatically charged $161. I called and spoke to Tina in the billing who agreed my visit was coded incorrectly, and insurance provider was overcharged. However, they did not agree to fix their error by recoding the claim, resubmitting to my insurance, and crediting my card for the overcharge. CareFirst offered to reduce the credit card charge to $100, claiming they would not charge any less than $100 for an office visit -- this and the weekend surcharge would be valuable info to provide your attendants. CareFirst needs to clean up their business practices of overbilling insurance and care first about their patients...

i had cut my thumb on a broken bowl one morning two weeks ago and knew after it wouldn't stop bleeding continuously after five hours that it needed stitches. i have had plenty in my life to know. i could see it had cut down to the bone. But after going to this urgent care, the guy on staff decided AFTER taking all of my payment and copays made his own decision to just put so iodine and a bandaid on it. Even after telling my husband and i he was AT LEAST going to butterfly it. i had to go back in and remind him of THAT. To which he said, "oh i guess, since i said i would." What a moron! My thumb was busted back open and bleeding all over in a matter of hours. Two weeks later and it is still having to be bandaged and i am still in ALOT of pain. Pathetic excuse for any medical professionals and an urgent care!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to be belittled.
