  We lease an area to a repo company. These people came to retrieve their personals from said repo company. We informed them that we had nothing to do with the repo company.

  i was stuck in mud (NOT WATER) i called a tow driver, upon his arrival my vehicle was in Perfect shape and not flooded, still running and dry, a young guy from Luthi's tow company showed up & tried taking it out for me but had no clue what he was doing and tried pulling me diagonally making my vehicle passenger whole left side door window not work or back van door not work and flooding all the way up, all dashboard warning lights are on, and touch radio won't work, won't show nothing besides a black screen. I called and spoke with a lady at *** ******* and she requested that i send some photos and videos of the vehicle before and durning, so upon requested i went over and asked one of the men for the photo of before so i could send to Insurance as requested but when i did a guy goes "For what Purpose" and walked fast like to get his phone to call State high way patrol (he never did) until i called to make a report because they were acting funny & ruining my vehicle and making matters worse. as i got off the phone and told the men that a state highway patrol officer was on the way he called someone (i think he requested her) as the cop showed up she ignored me and my husband and walked straight to the tow truckers and was smiling and talking, laughing with the men. we asked her if she could get the guy that took the before picture to send it over and she said no that she can’t make someone do something. so i took matters into my own hands asking the guys “please, can i have that picture” and they kept telling me no. the officer yelled at us and we yelled back, she then went back to her vehicle and wrote me 2 tickets. Police Report # ********** Officer name: ******* ****** ******, badge # **** ***** number: ************** Towing company is called Luthi's Towing, they charged me a total of $181.05 . (i have receipt) phone number: **************

  Unfortunately the driver of this vehicle made a poor decision to drive into a flooded roadway after passing "HIGH WATER" & "ROAD CLOSED" signs that were clearly posted.  Our recovery practices are consistent with industry standards and were utilized to winch the vehicle from the flooded roadway.  The water was high and rising at the time of this call.  Their own pictures submitted clearly show this was more than a vehicle "stuck in the mud".  Most passenger vehicles driven into high water will sustain damage to its electrical systems and sometimes to the engine itself.  A representative of the customers insurance company made contact with us, and explained that the customers damage from water was a covered claim.  The mentality to blame any specific company or tow operator for a poor decision is unfortunate and wish her the best of luck in the future.

  When I called luthis towing my vehicle was in water but was not affecting anything inside the vehicle. Road signs? There were so many other people going down that road, i got stuck in mud on the road/grass because i didn’t go down the middle, i went off to side a little. My vehicle did not get flooded out and ruined until luthis came out to “help me”. While I understand that Luthis towing company may have been acting within legal rights, I believe that their actions may have caused unnecessary inconvenience, stress, and financial loss to me. I am putting them on notice that I will be pursuing a claim against luthis company for any losses, stress, and financial losses to me as a result of their actions.  ps, If they really thought they didn’t do anything wrong, they would have gave me the before picture they took, but no they refused too, they knew they were responsible for the damages to my vehicle.  Nothing but lack of knowledge on towing & hauling.
