    BBB took a complaint over the phone. Below is the voice to text voicemail description

    Yes, my name is ******* ****, and I want to give a complaint to BBB. Stanley Steamer had ruined a very expensive rug on October 28th. They had messed it up very bad. My complaint number is ********. I'll say that again, the complaint number is **********. I'm seeking BB's help because the rug itself was $857.99 and I need help. It is ruined, it wants to roll up, and it looks like Stanley Steamer that they bleached rug, and it was not like that before they cleaned it. It was in very good shape, and it's ruined, and it's very dangerous because it wants to keep rolling up, and we can trip on it. And I've even tried to put tape on it, and it does not hold down. That's what Stanley Steamer suggested when they came back out November 12 to see it. And I just need to either be compensated or to get a new rug for this. A new rug, same rug, never had a rug like that. My wife and I, that was the first time we were able to buy an expensive rug like that in 41 years of marriage. And it's only 15 months old. And I had an aunt, my wife's aunt came in on Friday, the 22nd of November, and she looked at, she said, what happened to your rug? She said it's rolling up and it looks bleached. And she's 77 years old. And I'm just needing, and we said that's what happened after they cleaned it, as she said where we used to live, she said that wasn't like that. It never looked like that at all. So I'm just seeing to either be compensated for it for the damages or replaced. So my phone number is ###-###-####, the Better Business Bureau, if they needed the claimant number, once again, is **********, and I've just sought Better Business Bureau to see if I could get help. I'm just not being vengeful. I'm just trying to get this settled that they damaged our rug, and it's very hard on my wife. It's bothered her severely, so we need to get this settled if we could. That's why we came to BBB to get this problem settled. I hope you all have a good Thanksgiving, and I hope that I'll be able to hear from you down the road, that you will be able to give me some, my wife and I, some consolations and comfort about this to see if something can be done, either be replaced or be compensated.     I got this message from BBB , concerning my complaint against Stanley Steamer. They ruined my wife and I rug. The rug was 857 dollars and Stanley Steamer doesn't want to hold there selves responsible. They need to reimburse for the damage. Stanley Steamer corporate has the picture of the damage to rug and receipt of what it cost. ** *** Schaad
