Original Transaction Date: 3/23/2023 Paid $500.00 to Doug to aquire gutters because he stated I would not be able to transport them. Material was $100.00 less than expected so remaining $100 was applied to the labor amount of $875.00 to install the gutters. Job: Gutter installation to prevent water from going under siding. Issue: 1) End caps and bottom spouts were not installed. 2) We had not received any substantial rain until 4/16. I saw that the gutters were not catching the rain and leaking severely at every seam, so I sent a text to Doug for a resolution. 4/21 still had not rcvd reply so I texted again sending pictures of the issue. 4/23 rcvd reply saying the gutters are supposed to be like that but Doug would come and look at it next week. 5/2 No one came to check gutter yet. Texted Doug again to see when he would come. 5/3 Rcvd text that Doug would come next week. 5/10. No show. Rcvd text he would come by the following Monday. 5/15. Doug said he will need to bend some metal to run along the roof over the gutter. 6/12 Still not fixed. 6/13 sent text to see what was going on. Reply wasthat he would come when he got the break back to bend the metal. 7/20. Still no one has showed up. Sent Doug a text to find out what will be done. 8/10 One of his employees came with a tube of silicone to put on the gutters with no intention of putting up the metal edging he previously told me that would be needed because silicone wouldn't work. I explained that would be unacceptable. 8/17. Employee (who happens to be the owners son) came to fix the probelm with an uncut roll of metal. I asked about the gutter end cap and spouts. He stated that the owner told him they were not going to install the parts I already paid for. I told the son that I am tired of being lied to by his boss and would report the gutter parts issue with BBB. Doug told him to leave and not finish I fully paid for a working gutter. Doug accused me of harrassing. They can take the gutter
