    I booked a reservation at this hotel through hotels.com. The itinerary number is **************. We arrived at the hotel at 11:45 pm on 11/23/2023. The "Open" sign was on and flashing. No one was in the office. I went into the lobby and dialed 0 on the lobby phone as indicated on the sign next to the phone. The phone rang busy. I called the hotel's main number and no one answered. I repeated this process four times without success. I booked another reservation at a nearby hotel and we departed the Falls Inn at 12:10 am.

    I was in contact with hotels.com through their website's chat feature and they opened a case about my situation and my request for a refund since the hotel they breached the contract of the reservation.

    Hotels.com response on 11/23/23 was: "We have contacted Falls Inn to see if they could make an exception and grant a refund.

    Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we weren't able to obtain an approval from the property manager to waive the cancellation fee. This means the current rules and restrictions for your booking apply and a refund can't be granted.

    We're really sorry about this; we always try to contact suppliers and advocate for our travelers in these situations. Properties often have strict policies around refunds, and there's nothing more we can do in this case."

    They weren't there to provide the room which was already paid. I shouldn't be out the money.

    I had a trailer on the back of my car and he was very rude about where I had to park. And he gave us a room all the way in the back which was really far away from our vehicle and there's no way those rooms were taken. His body language and tone was very nasty, our room key did not work at first so when we went back to ask for his help and he came to the room he continued with his nastiness and I told him that he was being very rude. He asked me how he was being rude and I told him it was as if he was talking down to us, and I told him that my hips were bad and could didn't understand why we couldn't just unload the vehicle or Park right here in the back it look like there was extra room, or get room closer. He got very loud and Irrate and even came at my friend who was with me as if he were going to hit him, I had to step in between. I started to get video he did not come at him again but still was very rude it would not stop talking over us and refused to give us a refund. The service was appalling and I was extremely uncomfortable. When I checked out the next day I was almost afraid I would not get my security deposit back, but I dealt with a lady who was extremely polite and fast on getting it back to me, I'm glad I didn't have to see the guy again. ** ****** ***** **** **** ** *** ** ****** **********
