I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below. When my neice and I came and looked at it, it was dirty and I asked Cole then if they were going to clean it before I moved in and he said yes.It never was cleaned.  Again, the property manager and even saw it and felt bad.  I have lots of pictures nail holes with the putty still over it, there's two burn marks on one of the bath room sinks, windows disgusting.  I has to switch to 2 different condos and I had my hopes up but they denied both. On the last one, I was told it was because the woman moving in was paying a deposit and a couple months of rent.  I was told it was all about the moeny.  I've attached some of the photos that I took when I moved in.  If you would like more, I can either email them or mail them to you. I may have to no matter what. Everything I try to upload will not attqach.

What about the refund of $600.00?  I have never received that.  I sent a letter with the doctor note and what the property manager told me  and I never received a response. I was not going to force this issue until I moved out but since having all the recent issues, here we are.

In response to the complaint about the condo rental at *** ******* ***** ****, *********** **, these condos are not new at move in, they will have some normal wear and tear, but we as a company do paint, clean, maintenance and carpet clean the condos between each rental.
It is the responsibility of the renter to replace their light bulbs but we occasionally we will assist with this when we have time.  We were scheduled to replace the light bulb, but a scheduling conflict occurred, and our maintenance personnel communicated with this renter by email that he had to reschedule.  Cole has never agreed to a 600. credit.  We will look into this issue.
We were unaware of the other issues but are addressing them today while we are changing out the light bulb.    All maintenance issues were addressed with the tenant and the tenant was satisfied with their completion.

Your questions answered.  Problem resolved. Your apartment was cleaned prior to your 2021 move in.   The apartment was not new.  Therefore not in “new” condition.
As a company policy we do not allow switching from dwelling to dwelling after move in.
Regarding the $600 rent you speak of, this fee is a pet fee that was incurred prior to you switching your dog to an emotional support animal.  Therefore, that initial pet fee remains valid.
We do not retroactively return the fee after you later bring paperwork claiming an emotional support animal.
Furthermore, it seems that you have had a cat from move in that was not disclosed and appears that you have taken in feral cats since.    The charge of $600 pet fee remains.

On April 4, 3025 I sent a zip file to the *********************** email a zip file of the condition the condo was in when I moved in. IT WAS NOT CLEANED! I’ve attached a PDF of some of the pictures that I took when I moved in.  This is not all of them, just a few that I feel show how dirty the condo was.

Pet refund, that is what your property manager told me, I have it recorded if you would like to hear it. She also told me I could switch condos and had me complete a new application for it.Since she is your proptery manager, currently, you should be liable for her actions/words.

Sorry if your apartment was not cleaned to a level you like when you moved in November of 2021. Please note, You do not have to return it any cleaner than when you moved into the apartment.
It is a shame if there was a misunderstanding of what the resident manager on site had led you to believe, however we have already explained we are not giving any refunds or transferring apartments.

I do not accept his response, put it anyway you’d like, it was not cleaned at all! I cleaned this condo! But, I will not take this complaint further at this time in this platform.

On March 4 2023 part of the apartment building I live in fell on my car causing 2800 in damages. I give estimate to owner and he said it was to high and wanted to give one month free rent which no where near comes to total of my car damages my rent 800 car damages
He refused to run through his insurance told me it was a act of god. Someone is going to get seriously hurt due to condition of building its roach infested we went with out hot water for a week which still isn't right. I receive 900 disability a month can't really afford attorney. It is his responsibility for my damages I don't know what else to do

In regards to the hot water compliant,

At great expense, we recently installed a new energy efficient hot water heater after the existing one failed. It did take a few days for the qualified plumber to be available to install the new energy efficient system.

During the down time, use of hot showers were made were made available to any residents wanting it , in a neighboring building. We have been tweaking the system to make sure the water temperature is adequate and safe for all residents.

Regarding roaches-  the building is regularly exterminated for pests by a professional exterminating company.

Regarding the car damages- sadly during a high wind storm, we did have some concrete crack off of the building. A call was received that Saturday morning and management immediately responded to the incident.  She pointed out some markings on the hood of

her 2007 Saturn Ion from the falling concrete.  We have contacted our insurance company and we’re told they do not cover this type of issue. As a good faith gesture, we offered a free months rent that would more than cover the damages.  We strongly dispute her

estimate of $2746. which was to repaint the entire car. The scratches were only to the hood.
