    Received a ***** originals horse blanket heavyweight and within the first week of using it, it developed sharp chunks in the liner and was poking my horse. I took a video and asked others opinion and they concurred the blanket wasn’t right. I emailed ***** Sales and they told me there was nothing they could do.

    I received the blanket as a gift for Christmas 2023 and was not provided with the reciept.

    Understood. My mother in law purchased the blanket from Tack wholesale. I have a video showing the hard clumps but cannot attach it due to file constraints. My intent is to have the blanket replaced as it cannot be used in cold weather. Please let me know how we can get to a resolution.

    We sold ***** Originals winter blankets for over 10 years. We have never heard of any issue with hard clumps in the blanket. We can offer you a 50% refund if you want to keep the blanket you have. You can also send the blanket back to us for us to examine. If we see any issue with your blanket, we will ship out a replacement blanket to you. Please let us know if either of these options would be an acceptable resolution for you.

    I have attached a return shipping label that you can use to send this blanket back to us. If you need a box to ship it back in, you can visit your local post office for assistance in acquiring shipping supplies. As a policy, we do not send packaging to customer to mail items to us.     We received the blanket you sent back to us. It was examined by three different people, but we could not see or replicate the issue you described about the filling. It did not seem defective to any way. The blanket was heavily used from what we can tell from the condition of the item. If you want this blanket returned to you, we can send you an invoice for shipping.

    The blanket was used for a total of three days and on the third day it developed the sharp chunks. I don’t appreciate your judgement that it was heavily used, that is a reflection of the quality of the blanket. In order for you to duplicate the chunks, it would have to be put in a cold freezer as that’s when they were developed. Was that done? If you will not attempt to duplicate the chunk development in a cold environment, I would like my money back and not the blanket.
