      Renner Management had been the Management Company for my Condo Association Sturbridge Crossings I for many years. Service had always been lackluster, but the past few years it went from tolerable to unacceptable. Management was continually making financial decisions and signing expensive contracts without board approval. In the past five years, we had only one annual meeting, when they were contracted to hold these once per year. When brought to the manager *** ********* attention, he assured me it would no longer be an issue, and took over our account for him to handle personally. He then began contracting expensive work without our knowledge, approving invoices without board approval. About 6 months worth of jobs and invoices were contracted and paid for without board knowledge or approval. After multiple months of conversations with him about this, I sent him an email that detailed imposing financial penalties if invoices were approved without the board, and requested financial information (bank statements, owner balance sheets etc), to get an annual meeting scheduled, and gave him 3 weeks to get it all together (more than enough time). On the deadline day, he provided no information and instead terminated services with no notice. Now he is refusing to provide information to our new management company. His company also continued to take automated payments from residents for dues the following month. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
