    In October of 2020, we paid over $34K in Cash to Sam Calanni the owner of Calanni Landscaping LLC to do our patio. In the first year every time it rained we had so much water accumulation behind out seating wall that he had built on the patio. The year after he came and put a hole in the seating wall instead of originally putting a drain. Starting 2021, the pavers on the patio started to move and between the pavers so much growth happened. We contacted him, he said it is normal and we have to spray the growth. the crushed limestones between every 2 pavers kept coming out and it became an on going issue. We talked to 2 different landscaping companies and they said the base is not even and polymer sand should have been used to prevent movement and growth. Last year, we just couldn't take it anymore and the patio looked very ugly with so much weed and moss so we had the whole patio redone. Sal Landscaping removed all the pavers, and made the proper slop, used polymer sand and added the openings where they were needed for drainage. I paid $20K to redo this job that could have been avoided if the job was done correctly the first time. We contacted him to pay us some of the money back and he refused. I have pictures available to prove this. We are asking for $10K back. I do have a lawyer and he recommended I make a complaint to the Attorney General office and I did last year, they said they forward you guys the complaint since Calanni is registered with BBB but I never heard back from any one last year. Thank you.
