    I entered into a contract with JMS Design Build on 3-28-24. The contract included:
    1. Demo existing Bathroom, remove fixtures, cabinets, tops floor
    2. Rework Electric/ Plumbing to service new area, new exhaust fan/light-2-LED
    3. Drywall (green board) walls-ceiling as needed, prime, paint! New Trim to match
    4. Install new Trub/Shower- Vaves, Tile wall, Toilet, Fixtures, Vanity, Top, Floor, Tub
    5. Renovate Living Room/ Office area as specified with Owner, Frame, Electric, Drywall
    6. Install new Fron Windows (Boxed Bay)
    Keep area Safe-Clean, Remove Debris
    ($5,500 included for finishes)
    Top Glass Master Bath

    Project Cost $43,211
    Deposit $15,000

    $5,531 6-11-2024
    $5,700 5-28-2024
    $7,100 5-23,-2024
    $15,000 3-28-24

    Project progress has been painfully slow, currently, items 1, 5, and 6 have been mostly completed but the work is sloppy and there are multiple areas that need to be touched up.

    Items 2, 3, and 4 are still in progress after over five months under construction. The contractor is demanding additional payment before finishing the project. I've received several aggressive text messages demanding additional payment. He expects that he can change the cost of the project as it progresses without a signed change order and is demanding full payment before the project is complete. Quote" If you don't give **** Payment by 12:30 I am going to ask him to leave", this was in reference to a contractor, ****, currently working on drywall.

    I'm submitting this complaint due to his lack of professionalism and continuing to threaten to stop work even though he has been paid almost the full amount of the contract. The texts seem to be getting more aggressive as I have denied additional payment until the work is complete. There has been no communication on any additional costs and he is now avoiding meeting with me due to these contract arguments

    I had a contract to remodel her home for a price of $43,211.00 and a price of $9959.00 for additional items including the window and flooring as well as the master bathroom.

    The price total $53, 170.00.  I received payments of $29,400.00 with the remaining balance of
    $23,700.00.

    The floor job had been paid for at a cost of  $11,231.00 had been started but not completed yet.

    I have reached out to ******* to set up a time to complete the job and also to set up a progress payment schedule. At this time she has not allowed us to complete the job.
    Please ask ******* to reach out to me so we can complete the job.
