      Last year someone from Insight canvassed my neighborhood to sign individuals up for service. We reviewed what services they offered, and I let them know I would be selling my home the next summer. They let me know the contract could be canceled with no fee if you could prove you are selling the home and moving. Since then, they have not scheduled with me to come to my home for pest control, only text me the day before saying they would be there during my work hours. I did have a time I needed someone to come out, and they charged extra.

      Now, as I had mentioned before signing the contract, I am closing on the sale of my property today. I called to cancel services, and **** answered the phone. He told me I could only get a $100 credit to the $240 cancelation fee because I sold my home. This is not what I was told. **** did not care, said this is what the contract says. I said I would not pay as I was told something different. He said they would send me to collections. I did get quite upset and was not pleasant to him on the phone. I had to ask him well over 5 times to give me an email address where I could send a screenshot of proof that my home was sold once the closing was finished. He did not want to give it to me and said I should just check my email and respond. Even this simple request he didn't want to provide a response to. He did eventually give me the email address, and I did receive his email. I will be sending the screenshot of Aries once the sale goes through and the site is updated. There is another payment scheduled to come out 07/06. This payment also should not go through.

      I should not have to pay a cancelation fee for this service as I was told as long as I was selling my home I would not have to. I knew I would be moving this summer.

I reviewed your account and the early termination fee was waived and your account has been closed. **** was not familiar with that policy for accounts that I set up and that is my fault for not addressing that with him.       Consumer has a contract with Insight Pest Solutions that started on 5/8/2024 They were told it would be
      cheaper than their previous company. They are charged monthly, and it is a two-year contract. The
      previous company didn't charge them every month (5 months/year). The service isn't taking care of the
      bug issue.
