    I paid Roberts Sewer service for an inspection of an aeration tank. The cost was $450. The inspection consisted of pumping the tank out and inspecting the walls of the tank to check for damage.

    The guy they sent (*******) to do the inspection only pumped the liquid side of the tank and did not dig up the other lid or pump the solids, which is a crucial part of the inspection.

    I didn't have any knowledge of aeration tanks at the time but the inspection process didn't seem right to me. I then called a different company to do an inspection and while on the phone I told them what all Roberts sewer service did and he immediately said it wasn't right and I got taken advantage of. I then paid the Tresslers Plumbing to do a aeration tank inspection and after watching how it was done correctly I called Roberts.

    We argued on the phone for about 10 minutes to resolve the issue. He then said he would give me half my money back. I didn't feel that was right cause they are supposed to be the experts and did an incomplete job. He then agreed to give me full refund then quickly hung up on me.

    I have yet to get a refund and he is not responding to my messages. I also recorded our 10 minute conversation where he states that the job wasn't done correctly. I feel like I was taken advantage of and would like my agreed upon refund!

    I am rejecting this response because: He messaged me saying he wanted to “straighten things out” I messaged back saying to let me know when my refund is in the mail. He didn’t message back

     

    We already talked on the phone awhile ago which I have the recording saying he will refund my $450. He didn’t do the job I paid him for. He didn’t even do half the job I paid him for. I gave him my address and to let me know when he mailed the check.
