I was supoosed to be a first time customer. I spoke with the Owner and she was so polite & helpful in talking to her, however, the actual trainer (who refused to give me her name) is not polite! I barely walked in the door & she was rude to me about the door being open. My puppy, YES A PUPPY! Was pulling me (which is part of the reason for training) & I didn’t get the door closed fast enough for her. Mind you, no one was there! Then she very rudely said “you & your dog get up against the wall”. Again, no greeting at all! No introduction.. Anyway, as we were standing at the wall, another dog came in barking which caused my puppy to bark & the “trainer” again yelled at my dog. I thought that’s what training classes are for. The lady kept yelling at me & being rude. I asked her very politely if this was the norm but she quickly changed her tone when the other customer walked over. She then told I was not allowed to leave & I must stay for the class. I laughed & said “are you serious? This isn’t the military, I will and am leaving” she then argued & stated it’s against the contract to leave. To which I replied, no where in the said “contract” doesn’t state I am going to be treated rudely & my dog be yelled at for normal puppy behavior. Had I known this was a military boot camp for dogs I never would’ve signed up.” I left and immediately contacted Elizabeth who refunded my money within an hour! She had no explanation only apologized for the “trainers” behavior towards me. I’d also want to mention that when running a business I feel it’s unprofessional when you have a class about to start to be sitting with your feet crossed on another chair scrolling Facebook as customers walk in! The “trainers” claimed she hurt her foot really bad to which my question is how is she going to run class properly & efficiently on a hurt foot? Again, I got my refund but seeming this company came highly recommended to me, I will not recommend them to anyone!
