    This Unit was installed on 08/11/2016. The Unit was a replacement for a unit they installed that was defective. In the Month of November there was an issue of the furnace heating and not turning off. Now the furnace gets up to temperature, shuts off for a minute then turns on again. This only happens when the front cover is in place. When i install the front cover this problem persists. Brooklyn Heating was out to diagnose the problem. They were here for a couple of hours and whatever they did seemed to fix the problem. A couple hours later the problem started again in which i called them and they came out again. Another couple hours later the technician could not identify the problem and told me that His boss would be contacting me to resolve the problem. Two days passed and I was not contacted at all. Upn inspection of the furnace I noticed that the technician left a hose off of some moisture control and that a switch had been turned off on some device in the furnace. I paid them 140.00 for their service call in which i stopped payment on the check i wrote. They never tried to contact me to resolve this and this indicates to me they don't want to deal with this. There is a 10 year warranty on this furnace and I want this fixed ASAP. Leaving the cover off the front of the furnace is not a safe alternative but this is the only way the furnace will function properly, in my opinion.

    First, I apologize for the delay responding to this complaint. There was a total mis-communication about this matter with the service tech that responded to the service call. There was no mention to me from the technician that I was to return for this situation. We are sorry about this error in communication. I am clarifying with that technician the condition of the unit when he left the call. We are more than willing to return to the job and repair the furnace. I have tried calling the customer this morning to arrange a time to take care of the issue. I have been unable to get in touch with him. I will keep trying to reach out to the customer so we can take of the heating issue.
