      i took my ******** auto 5 shotgun in to the bullet ranch to have the safety switched to left hand and to resolve a jamming issue . the gun ***** took a look at the gun and said he didnt see a problem it should be able to be flipped. 2 days later i stop in to tell them dont worry about the jamming issue i knew what it was the gun was laying on the floor in its soft case hasnt even been touch. kinda thought that was weird that they lay customers guns on the floor . ok so heres the issue i was called 10/10 they advised the safety couldnt be switched and to come get the gun i get to the facility pull out my shot gun and it had a deep knick in the stock as soon as i stated this not only the owner but the guy behind the counter ***** an attitude with me the owner states leave it here ill fix it . i asked him how long would he have it then he smarts off and says its been here a week you in a hurry now though that was kinda rude but what ever . so i leave the bullet ranch get about a mile down the road owner calls and says we didnt work on the stock we worked on the receiver . so i told him that shotgun wasnt damage when i gave it to him and he pretty much called me a liar i got mad and cussed at him then he threatens to keep my gun till monday so being the better person i submitted and said ill just come get the gun *** then in a smart a** voice he says thats the kinda language i wanna here . these people damaged my gun and dont want to repair it after stating they would and still charged me a ***** bench fee in which i paid .

      Not sure why he saying I copped an attitude with him. I looked at the damage that was stated we did to his product, told him to leave it with me so I could take care of it, and immediately started to investigate. What I found was that the damage was done previously, and not by us as he accused. We have the cameras all over the store, and they are easy to check. That's what I did, to make sure we were responsible, like any reasonable business owner would. My armorer literally spent 4 hours on his shotgun, gave you the part you needed to get to do your install, and only charged you a bench free of $25. And for some reason, customer has found that unfair and went on the attack.

      We already ate 4 hours of labor due to customers complaints. Customer is unreasonable and placing blame for damage that we did not do. Customer berated, name called, and made threats towards me. Customer is banned from this store, permanently.

      I am rejecting this response because:  i have no reason to make up lies on this store .  they scratched my gun offered to fix it  until they realized  it was going to take some effort on his part to repair it .  there were no parts given because the parts were not available as for 4 hours  i dont understand  that because its a 1/2 job at the most . as for being banned from there store for life  i could care less . there selections not good and they never have ammunition. its just close to my house . but ill travel not to have my gun damaged in the future .   this gun was purchased at cabelas  2 days prior to them having it  and it was in mint condition

      Unable to address customers stated concern, as we did not damage his firearm as he is stating. I took responsibility for his property, researched his claims, found them to be untrue based on documented and recorded observation, and immediately called him to let him know. There are a total of zero ways to reach any resolution with this person. Customer has buyers remorse as he paid 3x more than stated property is worth, and is now trying to make somebody else pay for his error. We are not those people, we did nothing but help him.
