    After this company finished the fence, which was a constant struggle to get them to show up, the post for where the gate is has started to break away. The entry gate on that side has never worked. They installed the gate too far away from the post so it doesn’t close and latch. I have a bungee cord holding it closed so the dogs don’t get out. We have been told for over 6 months that they will be here “the following week”, every week…to reset and fix the gate so we can actually use it. They have not shown up. The gate on the other side is also not installed correctly but is useable. They asked us to pay for the remainder of the project prior to completion since they needed money for materials for their next job. We did, and the job was finished but it was never done correctly. I am hoping to get both gates fixed and the post reset, as promised. The entire fence is still under their warranty since it’s not a year old yet. Can you please help get them to fix what they didn’t install correctly?

    Transaction took place on 8/17/2022 with Decks and Beyond in Piqua, OH. For a fence for $4,425.00 and they required half down which was a check (#****) for $2,217.50. Many calls have been made to Decks and Beyond (********** office and cell phone **********). No one answers the calls.

    I gave them $22,000 down on building a screen room. The promised it would be done by Christmas. Not started yet, they don't answer their phone or return calls.

    We worked with ** ******* and agreed upon Resurfacing of the deck on June 23. ** ******* assured us that the work will be done in 4-6 weeks because we ordered supplies that would be available in the market. I have attached a copy of the estimate. We forwarded 50% of the estimated amount, which was $ 6339, I have attached a copy of the withdrawn money. We never got a receipt of that money from the company. We have called more than fifteen times since then and have not received a call back to tell us if the work will begin. If no one calls us back, there is no scope of resolution. We no longer have confidence in our relationship. Please return our money immediately.

    4/18/22 we hired Decks and Beyond, LLC to build a deck. We paid 1/2, $7500, ck# 9608. **** ****** said it would be 4-6 wks for the job to start. The total job was going to be a 18x24 deck at the total of $15,485.00. From 4/18/22 to 9/29/22 this company returned two of my phone calls. We have phone records showing that I called about our deck and they NEVER answered. Sometimes the mailbox was full. Most the time we left a message and got NO call back. I went to the place of business on Aug. 12, 2022. We were told that the materials would be delivered on 8/15 and the job would begin on Aug.16. NOTHING. We have been GHOSTED ALL summer. We are out $7500 and NO deck. They will not call or contact us. We have talked to aa attorney and he said I need to contact the BBB. (Contract says **** ******, it's ***** ******). The correct name was on the check and it's been cashed.

    I contracted with Decks and Beyond, who it appears is formerly RM Property Solutions, LLC (who has BBB complaints against them). I met with **** ****** of Decks and Beyond, who I became aware of through Home Depot Pro Referral to build a deck at my home in late April 2022. I was quoted $18,967.00 to complete the project, and was asked for a 50% deposit. I gave **** ****** a check in the amount of $9,967 on May 6, 2022, which was cashed immediately. They represented that the deck would be built and completed by the end of June. When that didn't occur, I began to inquire about the timeline for completion of the project. They thereafter represented several start dates, none of which occurred. I went to the office listed on **** ******'s business card, and it looked like there was no business located there, but that one may have been there in the past. I often don't get return phone calls, or I get a reply email making more broken promises. I sent an e-mail to **** ****** on 9/13 stating that I no longer wanted to do business with this company and wanted a full refund of my $9,967 I paid on May 6, 2022, for which I received a receipt on May 7 2022. He has not replied to my e-mail correspondence. When I looked up Decks and Beyond on BBB, no information came up on them. I only found RM Property Solutions, LLC by putting in **** ******'s name. I feel like he is running a scam, now under the name of Decks and Beyond. I am currently out $9,967.00, plus interest, and I want my money back immediately

    I am in receipt of your correspondence regarding closing the Complaint that I filed against Decks and Beyond (********). I wanted to inform you that I received a full refund from the Company. Unfortunately, the almost 5 months that they had my deposit of $9967.00 cost me about $150.00 in interest that I did not receive back with the refund. I am not surprised that they did not respond. Based upon my experience with this company, I would not recommend that anyone do business with them.

    This business started our deck project a year ago. They replaced the deck flooring and most of the railings on the deck proper. We were satisfied with the work that was completed. They did not put in the handrails nor the deck rails where there was a 45 degree angle (2 of them). There was a problem with their supplier per their explanation. We have been promised the areas would be completed on several occasions but they never showed up nor called. We now call them several times a week with no answer. They did answer our cellphone call (I suspect they ignored us on our other line) and would follow up. My husband cannot use the stairs because there is no handrail. We cannot let small children on the deck as there are missing railings. We are very frustrated with the lack of response to finish the project and promises to show up and then they do not nor do not call.

    I have had nothing but issues with this Mr. **** ****** and his company (Decks and Beyond, LLC) from the start however, I am now at my wits end in getting them to correct issues that have caused my deck to fail it final city inspection. Since being notified by the city that my deck failed its inspection, I have reached out to Mr. ****** and his company six (6) times in attempts to resolve this matter. Via Email: 14 Apr 22 – Was told he would contact the city which I don’t believe ever happened 26 Apr 22 – No response 10 May 22 – No response 24 May 22 – No response Via Phone: 9 Jun 22 – Left message, no return call 13 Jun 22 – Left message, no return call These attempts are in addition to the two (2) attempts the city has made (via email) to reach Mr. ****** regarding this matter. 1 Apr 22 11 or 12 Jul 22 I feel this is my last option before getting legal representation and filing suit against Mr. ****** and his company. Any assistance you could provide to help me reach a resolution would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully, ***** *******
