On this past Tuesday September 10, 2024 I called the store to place oorder for hot chicken and jojos from the deli, it was 3:58 PM and I was told she could have it ready in 15 minutes. When me and my grandson went to pick up my food from the deli , my grandson picked up a few items for himself, including 2 small strawberry milks, his items cost approx 12 dollars and my order was 17 dollars. The cashier double charged us for the 17 dollars of chicken and jojos. I didnt realize till we walked out of the store what had happened, thats when I looked at the receipt and saw she charged everything on my grandson's *** food card, total was 29.85. The hot food shouldn't been allowed to be paid for on the *** card but the cashier typed it in herself, it wasn't scanned. Then she still charged me again 17 dollars cash for the hot food. When I went back in to get my money back, they wouldn't do it and they kept stalling, and I even showed them my receipt. The blonde haired lady that the cashier kept getting to come help, was very rude to me. I finally called the sheriff. They did not give me my money back. The next day I called the store and talked to the owner; who happened to be the rude blonde the night before, and she admitted her employee made a mistake, but I believe they may have a scam going in that store. They know the hot food wasnt allowed to be purchased on an *** card.
