    We contracted with the business on 8/13/2024 for $******* to replace concrete in the entryway of our building and power wash and seal existing concrete walkway. Owner scheduled installation twice and failed to show on both occasions without calling or explanation. We gave him one more opportunity to install and advised we would cancel and demand our deposit back if concrete was not installed by Thanksgiving. Concrete was installed on November 22 but sealing was not done, apparently due to weather. Two hours before concrete was to be poured contractor demanded $ ****** additional due to washed out foundation. We verbally agreed to additional amount with the condition it would not be paid until concrete was sealed and power washed per contract. Contractor was paid for original contracted amount ($ *******) and now refuses to return and finish the job until the $ ****** is paid. Due to carelessness contractor also broke off pieces of existing blacktop along entire outer edge of concrete with excavator while removing old concrete and filled it in with cold patch asphalt, which has already come loose. We are requesting that the sealing and power washing be completed as agreed per contract and poor workmanship be corrected with properly installed hot asphalt.
