I went for an oil change at the Poland, Ohio location at approximately 5pm. Immediately after my oil was supposed to have been changed, I drove out and my car begins shuttering and shaking while making a strange noise.
I pulled back through and told the employee exactly what my car was doing and he explained that there was ‘no way’ that anything that had been done by them could have resulted in any of
the responses that my car was giving.

The two men that were working there looked again under my hood and pulled out the dipstick and showed my levels again to me, which appeared too high. I asked why the oil looked to be way past the ‘full’ mark on the dipstick and one of them gave an explanation that made no sense. He said that it sounded like transmission issues and that I should see a mechanic.

At this point my car is undriveable and I’m worried that my engine is going to explode.
Luckily, I work right down the road so I was
able to make it into the parking lot.

I had to call a tow truck to take my vehicle to the mechanic who documented everything which is included in this email:

The transmission fluid was drained from my car, NOT the oil. They overfilled my oil by adding to the old oil without draining it first.
There has been permanent damage to my transmission because of this.

I requested full reimbursement for my
Oil change, tow, payment for my mechanic as well as a new transmission through a Subaru dealership.
My car is a 2019 Subaru Impreza with no issues up until this.

They reviewed all documentation and offered a check for the expenses already paid out but will not get back to me regarding resolution of my transmission replacement.
