We recently worked with ****** ******** ************* on a full basement finish/remodel...10/10 could not recommend Functional Living Design Group more! Every member of their team (and every person we interacted with as part of this project) was nothing short of professional, thorough, patient and genuinely caring for both our family and our home. We truly had the best experience. My *********** started with high level ideas that *****, **************** were able to creatively and thoughtfully bring to fruition; helping us maximize both functionality and space all while remaining in scope and on budget. The entire *** team consistently delivered exceptional craftsmanship and dedicated work ethic. And perhaps just as or even more importantly, everyone we had the opportunity to work with demonstrated integrity and respect with a commitment to doing the right thing. We were nervous at the onset of trying to find the right company to finish/remodel our basement and from project start to finish, we never once questioned our decision. In fact, quite the opposite; we were reminded throughout that we made the right call. We are grateful for our new, beautiful space and the opportunity to partner with ************* They truly care and that was felt every step of the way. We highly recommend FLD to our neighbors and friends and would/will use them again on our next project, hands down!

I had a great experience with ***** and her team when adding on my 4 seasons room. They were professional and knowledgeable about all that was included in the project. Functional Living Design Group remodeled our kitchen last year and we couldn't be happier. The quality is great, and any little things that popped up were quickly corrected. The carpenters that worked on our kitchen truly cared about the quality of their work, which was refreshing. The process was very straightforward and honest. Any small changes or tweaks were never questioned and any larger changes were accommodated quickly. We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Functional Living Design, and couldnt be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team demonstrated outstanding craftsmanship, attention to detail, and excellent communication.They took the time to understand our vision, offered great suggestions, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Every aspect of the remodelfrom cabinetry to countertops and fixtureswas executed with precision and care. Our new master bath is wonderful. Working with Kathy was a pleasure. She explained the process so we knew what to expect during construction and responded to any questions immediately. The design to enlarge the shower is just what we wanted. the room feels so much larger but we stayed within the same footprint. Her suggestions from updating the recessed lighting to our flooring choice were perfect.
Kathy introduced us to an outstanding contractor, *** ****** of *** General Contracting. He and his team were great. The first day he brought his team and they went over Kathy's plans and located plumbing, shut-offs and where some needed to be installed and electrical and made sure we understood the process. The first day of demo, the guys came in and covered our floors for protection as they made their way back to the bathroom.
They cleaned up every day and were friendly and courteous. someone stopped every day to see how the project was progressing and were materials needed and did we have any questions or concerns.
The end result is beautiful. The extensive tile work is stunning. I still go in and stare how well everything goes together.

There arent enough characters available to describe how thrilled my husband and I are with both our kitchen and bathroom remodel. From the initial meeting to the final detail, Functional Living Design Group was absolutely amazing to work with. *****, ****, and **** were in constant communication and we never once felt in the dark, or were unsure of the timelines or costs during the entire process. Selecting a company for a home remodeling project is an extremely important decision; far beyond just the price points. These are people that will be in and out of your home and communicating with you almost daily. It was imperative to me that I actually enjoyed and liked the people I would be working with. Anyone they had in our home- plumbers, electrical, painters, tiling, etc.- were professional, skilled, neat, and efficient. The team at Functional Living Design Group felt like friends by the end of our project. We will truly miss having our lead *********, *******************, in our home. He is extremely organized, has clear and efficient communication skills, a great sense of humor, skilled craftsmanship, keeps the workspace so tidy (which is tough to do during the demolition phase), and is just a very kind & caring human being. I am so grateful that we chose Functional Living Design Group to bring our remodeling ideas to life! Our home feels brand new and is absolutely beautiful.
