    Ohio State Landscaping, Inc. once again placed advertising on our USPS mailbox behind the flag on 12 February 2025. The advertising stuck to the mailbox requiring extensive cleaning. We thought we had resolved this with Ohio State Landscaping. Inc. in 2013 however when we once again checked with our city on 13 February 2025 we were informed that Ohio State Landscaping. Inc. did not have a city issued solicitor’s permit. Had Ohio State Landscaping, Inc. applied for and gotten a solicitors' permit from the city they would have been informed that there is a No Solicitor's registry which we are signed up for. We need proof from Ohio State Landscaping. Inc. that they will cease and desist tampering with our USPS mailbox. Also if Ohio State Landscaping. Inc. plans to continue to solicit in our city that they will get the solicitor’s permit required by our city and honor the city’s No Solicitor's registry. The USPS Domestic Mail Manual is very clear that mailboxes are not to be used for anything other than official mail with postage attached … so the other option is to do mailings through the USPS. USPS Domestic Mail Manual also prohibits placing anything on or around the mailbox.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    Curious why they still have not obtained a solicitor's permit from the city.
