    I am writing to formally file a complaint against Force Sports Park regarding their handling of the Kalahari Classic tournament held the weekend of May 3rd and 4th, 2025.

    Our team participated in the tournament, which included a three-game guarantee. On Saturday, May 3rd, we were able to complete two games under light rain and playable—though not ideal—conditions.

    However, on Sunday, May 4th, the weather significantly deteriorated. High winds and heavy rainfall created extremely unsafe playing conditions. Despite clear and widely available weather forecasts and radar data showing dangerous weather, the tournament still proceeded with the 8:00 a.m. game. After only two innings, the umpires stopped the game and informed coaches that the tournament was canceled due to weather.

    We were later told no refund would be issued because the 8:00 a.m. game had started and that coaches had “decided to cancel.” This is simply not true. The decision to cancel came from the organization, not the coaches. We have video evidence showing the treacherous weather conditions and the players’ experience that morning.

    Given that the tournament advertised a three-game guarantee and that only two full games and part of a third were played—under highly unsafe conditions—we believe a refund or at least a partial refund is warranted. We are very disappointed with the lack of accountability and concern for player safety displayed by the event organizers.

    We respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken by the Better Business Bureau.
