    We worked with Growteam startingin January 2024 through May of 2024. They had contacted us on several occasions previously selling us their SEO service. After an initial meeting in January we agreed to hire them to find us an SEO company to improve our website rankings. Their business model is that they match together small businesses with various SEO and marketing agencies that best fit the business's needs. They screen all agencies. Their promise is that if you are not happy with the agency they match you with they will find you a better matched one. So after a meeting in January we agreed to hire them to match us with an SEO agency. They matched us with one and they worked on our website for approximately 4 months. We had several meetings with the agency and quickly grew concerened they were not a good match. They were putting a lot of their efforts into SEO work on pages for products that were sold out and never would be back in stock. We sell tens of thousands of individually unique products so once an item sells. We also found out that after 4 months and almost $8000 they had only done work on less 1% of the pages on our site and mostly hidden/out of stock pages. They do this seo work using some sort of software that tests google algorythms as well so as you can imagine I was extemely shocked in this huge expense for so few pages. After several calls and meetings we agreed to stop using this agency. I asked for a refund and new SEO agency as their guarantee included. They offered a refund of only the most recent payment but agreed to find a new agency. Never heard back from them since mid June. 9 months later our google rankings for top key words have not improved but rather they are lower/worst.
