      I bought two of their products (iDesign 4-Tier Tension Pole Shower Caddy) from ************ I bought one on 7-1-2020 (order # *******-******), and the other on 2-29-2021 (order # *******-******), and on both of the packages it says in big capital letters highlighted in red "RUST PROOF COATING". I checked the FAQ's on their website, the very first question says "What is the difference between Rust-Resistant and Rustproof", and it says "Rustproof will not rust"!

      Well, both of them have rusted - one after the other, starting approximately 2 years ago, and the rust is getting progressively worse and worse! There's rust on the pole bottoms and the joints and on the rack bases where it attaches to the pole - of both caddies. Not to mention, both of the pole plastic caps have broken (the bottom ones), presumably from the rust which has expanded the diameter of the pole, and the constant pressure that the pole tension exerts on them.

      I sent this message along with pictures on 8/4/24 to the email address they provided on their website, and I got an auto reply saying "Thank you for contacting iDesign’s customer support......responses are managed within 24-48 business hrs".

      Well, 24-48 hours came & went, and more than 3 weeks went by and not a word from them. So I decided to call on 8/28/24, and when I did call during business hours, nobody picked up, so I left a voicemail. Another 2 days went by, nobody responded. I tried calling again on 8/30/24 and left a voicemail again and now as of today (9/6/24) another week has gone by and nobody has called or emailed me.

      By the way, when I called them on 8/28/24 & 8/30/24, I did so multiple times during work hours on those particular days, hoping that somebody might pick up the phone at one point, before I finally left them a voicemail, but even with so many attempts, nobody ever picked up and nobody has responded in any way in the past 33 days so far.

      Not only their products failed, but now they're avoiding responsibility!

      I bought an iDesign PEVA 3 Gauge Shower Curtain Liner 72" x 72". It's advertised as being "mold and mildew resistant." I've bought other shower curtains that make this claim, and they were pretty accurate. But after only six months, this shower curtain is covered in mold. I contacted idesign and sent them my receipt, but they refused to do anything about it.

      idesign needs to send me a shower curtain that is mold/mildew resistant.

      Thanking you in advance for reaching out to us here at iDesign regarding the following consumer complaint – see below. We do take all our customer feedback and concerns seriously.

       

      In this case, the iDesign PEVA 3 Gauge Shower Curtain Liner 72" x 72" is sold and marketed as “mold and mildew resistant.” As such, it is not “mold and mildew proof.”

       

      Every bathroom environment is a little different, and depending on usage, ventilation and contact with other substrates or agents, mold and mildew may have the opportunity to propagate.  As a helpful suggestion, spraying the shower liner with an anti-microbial, wiping it down in between use and allowing it to fully dry will greatly improve mold and mildew resistance over time.

       

      There may be other fully mold/mildew proof shower liners available, however, iDesign does not offer one at this time.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.



      I have had shower curtains not advertised as mold resistant, and they lasted for at least a year.  This mold resistant one only lasted a few months.  The merchant either needs to send a replacement shower curtain or issue a refund check.
