    Honeymoon gift for my son. HORRIBLE conditions for anyone, let alone a honeymoon gift. Bed mattress sunk in the middle causing back aches every morning! Couch just as bad! THICK spider webs on porch wall next to hot tub! No screens on windows. NO RECOURSE UNLESS THE OCCUPANTS COMPLAIN WHILE THEY ARE THERE. My ********* bride werent experienced with renting a cabin or that they could have moved to a different cabin. Dont let this happen to you. They stayed in The Shawnee #5 in Hocking Hills. NO COMPASSION AT ALL, NOT CARING AT ALL. THEY JUST WANT THE MONEY. SHAME ON THEM!!

We understand that this was a special occasion, and its disappointing to hear that aspects of the cabin fell short of expectations.The Shawnee #5 cabin is one of our older models, and while weve made some updates to ensure it remains cozy and functional, we appreciate your thoughts on areas that need more attention, such as the mattress and porch upkeep. We always encourage our guests to notify us of any issues during their stay so we can take immediate action, but we understand this may not have been clear to your son and his bride. We truly regret that this wasnt their experience.Please know that your feedback has been taken seriously, and we are committed to ensuring future guests have a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.     I am worried that Im being scammed. I didnt officially make a reservation last February 2022 when I clicked on their site, I never put money down or gave credit card information. But they are insisting over text and email that I have a reservation for tonight and that they have my card info. They have been borderline rude up til now when I have tried to contact them, and only get a response over texting. There is no one answering the phone. I will update on whether somehow they are able to charge me as I have no intention of using this non - reservation.

    I'm sorry but this is not our company. I cannot find ************************* in our system at all. She does not have a past or future reservation with us. We do not text our guests, and we are available by phone Sunday thru Friday 9am - 5pm est. We are a family owned business located in *******************, **** only.
