Dr. **** ***** is an outstanding doctor. He is extremely competent and has terrific bedside manner. In both my pre-op and post-op visits for cataract surgery, he took his time explaining what I should expect and answering each and every one of my questions. He found a few conditions that no other ophthalmologist had ever brought to my attention. I chose mono vision lenses and based on his understanding of my lifestyle, which includes a lot of racket sports, he tweaked each lens to give me the best outcome. I highly recommend this doctor! ******

Patients are recommended to get surgery without full and clear explanation of surgery center costs.

I had Lasik surgery in October 2023 and November 2023. The second eye surgery has left me with a black line in my peripheral vision. I have seen the doctor three times about this issue. Initially, he said that line will fade. Again second visit I was told the same. On the third visit which was Monday February 26th, I was now told by the doctor that basically there's no fixing this. And again I was told most patients most of the time the black line fades. If I had known that this would happen or could happen I would never had Lasik surgery. Other issues with the office I was told that my insurance covered all surgery expenses and I would not have to come up with any type of co-payment prior to surgery. I was also told more than once that the expense for glasses I would need after surgery was covered. Both not true. When I addressed the issue with the financial advisor in the office she said she was mistaken because of the other insurance I had before. I told her I didn't have any other insurance, ever. Prescriptions were called in for after surgery eye drops, of which when I want to pick up the prescription it would have cost me $140. I called their office and was told again by the financial advisor that this medication was so expensive because I had glaucoma. Which, I do not have. I could not believe but I was hearing. I wish I had gone to a different clinic. Now they want me to do a peripheral type of test. Really? So many not true statements. Do not recommend this group at all.

We believe there is a misunderstanding with the type of surgical procedure you had. Please contact the office administrator to address your concerns if you have not already. She is very happy to work with you and help you as is the surgeon.

I have been seeing *********************** for a few months now for iritis. I was given a steroid eye drop, and a sample of Systane. After the steroid drops I was switched to Restasis. He said we have to try them for 30 days to see if they work. I also had a complete eye exam between the two prescriptions. When I called Giant Eagle for the refill of Restasis I was told they contacted NEO 4 times for pre-authorization. I called NEO and they got it handled. Right after I got the refill of Restasis, my eye started having problems. I called NEO the man said stop taking them, well get you something else. This was New Years weekend. I called Giant Eagle the next day and was told they needed pre-authorization on that prescription. I called NEO the following Thursday and was told there was a mistake. they had to resubmit the script. I called the next day to ask how long preauth. takes. The lady said it can take weeks. She did apologize and tried to get me a sample. They didnt have any samples. The following week I get a message that my prescription is ready. and its $140.00!!! I left a message on NEOs website and got a call stating they were having computer problems. She got me an appointment sooner than originally scheduled. I told the ladies at my appt. that I felt like they (NEO) dropped the ball. She immediately apologized from the bottom of her heart. **** comes in and asked me why I said that, I didnt get finish all of my concerns before he said I can not charge you for todays visit, and you can find another eye doctor. I was very shocked at his defensive response. I told him I was already working on that. He felt like I should be mad with the insurance company, but even if I could afford $140 eye drops, I dont know that they would work. I asked him about giving me a different eye drop, and he sat like a deer in headlights for a minute and thats when he apologized. He NEVER GAVE ME ANYTHING FOR MY EYE. Only over the counter medicine since 12/29/23.

We are here for ************* needs should you want to come back even with a different provider. While we cannot control the costs of medications under the multitiude of insurance plans out there or the time it takes an insurance company to prior authorize them, we would be happy to help find an alternative route for you. We know you are seeing care elsewhere and we are sorry it had to come to that. Please reach out to our office and ask for the director on call if you'd like to talk about this in more details so we can possibly help further. ************

**************** and his staff came highly recommended for cataract surgery that I was in need of. Meet with him and selected the 'multifocal' option which cost me $6,600 out of my own pocket. Inserting the Vivity lens was to give me "near and distance vision, but some people may still need readers for very small print." After the surgery for the initial eye, I did not have near or bifocal vision. I was told both eyes work together, let's see what happens when the 2nd eye is done. Four months later, no change! At this point, I began to question **************** about additional charges. I was told that I did sign the papers stating that this procedure might not work for 20% of patients. Really? I didn't take the time to read all the paperwork the day I was going in for surgery, nor was I given a choice to have a copy of the papers. I got a small synopsis of what the paperwork said and told to sign here. So next step to give my eyes more healing time. Next appointment a month later I was told that sometimes 'crystals' get under the new lens and can cause issues, so *************** suggested laser. I ask *************** if I would be charged additionally for the laser. I was told "We will optimize this situation to get you to the place that satisfies you and your vision. Okay we did the laser but instantly after I began to see rays of light surrounding everything I was looking at, including the moon! Next visit, I hear well now your dry eye syndrome has changed to chronic and that is your issue. At this visit, I was also told by ****************** that the Vivity lens probably wasn't the best lens since I had dry eye issues prior to the lens replacement. Hmm...are we fishing for reasons here? Next appointment a permanent dry eye plug was inserted, and I was given my prescription and sent on my way to come back in 6 months. Really? Is that optimizing the situation after I spent $6,60
