The Plumber came out on 3/7, gave me 3 quotes for work. One for the shower valves. The second for shower valves and the main shut of valve. And the third one had shut off for the shower, main shut off valve and an outside faucet. The plumber stated he was concerned if he shut the main valve off it could break. So we rescheduled for the plumber to come back after the city came out on 3/13. The plumber had me sign the higher quote as an acknowledgment that’s how much it could cost. But if the valve was able to be shut off and then turned back on the lowest quote with just the shower shut offs is what would be completed.

On Monday 3/13 the plumber showed up before the water department, he was able to shut the water off at the shut off valve in the house. Be never called me back or spoke with the person present. He did the shower valves and outside faucet which wasn’t agreed upon .

I spoke to a lady in the office, her name was *****, she forwarded my concern to another lady. She called me back at 12:57 we discussed the situation . She then called me back at 3:02. She agreed there was a miscommunication, she would like to fine a solution to the problem. She told me she would go and talk to the owner and get back to me by email. I received nothing the rest of day. On 3/14 I sent a follow up email , and haven’t received any return call or email.

I feel like the company had me sign the higher quote, did what would cost the most money while here. And didn’t bother to call or communicate during the situation. I would have never signed the biggest quote had I known my concerns and what I wanted wouldn’t be taken seriously. I had three quotes drawn up for a reason. Once the main valve was able to be shut off by the plumber, he was to only replace the shower knobs. I feel as though I was scammed out of more money. And with the level of communication I’ve received with the office staff it’s only solidified my feelings.

It is never our intention to "upcharge" or "over sell" any customer.  Our technician did go over many scenarios and multiple quotes to resolve a few issues that Ms ****** had at the time of our visit. During the visit Ms ****** stated she would like to have the outside faucet repaired while the other issues were being addressed. Ms ****** stated to our office she had thought he meant something different than what the signed estimate and invoices stated.

Due to this miscommunication, and as a sign of good faith our company has refunded half of the charge to replace that outside spigot.

Our office Manager communicated with Ms ****** via email, and believe our customer is satisfied with this result.
