took my 2015 jeep grand Cherokee 3.6 to get diagnosed for ticking under the hood. the mechanic said it's the rockers arms and lifters. I bought the parts OEM so he can fix the problem. After he had all apart then told me the 2 cams on right side were bad, they needed replaced. I bought those as well OEM. When checking on the jeep he said it's still ticking a little. Maybe needed driven to get new parts going. He said to call him if it keeps ticking. Well, the side he put the cams on is ticking louder than before. My jeep sounds like a diesel truck now. When calling him back and telling him something is really wrong, it's louder and I need him to look at it again to see what's going on. He told me the rockers and lifters were good anyways. Him and the mechanic now laugh and then says I don't know what else to do it may be no oil pressure to the lifters. I asked if I could drop it off so he can check. He tells me he doesn't know how to do that. I told him on the Jeep forum it's says the rockers, lifters, and cams could have been placed wrong, or the oil galley plugs are not tight, or the timing is off. He had no solution but to only keep saying it's placed right or wouldn't go back together. I then called my husband to speak with him, thinking he's laughing at me and won't relook his work over due to me being a woman and not knowing about cars. My husband has called there 3 times now with no answer. i have video proof of noise, can't upload it on this complaint.
