Rae Trent Remodeling "Chuck T****" in March 2022 came to my home to give me an estimate for a siding, gutter and new windows. I signed the contract that very day with Chuck. Gave him a deposit of $10,500.00 in check form that he cashed 30 min later. Called Chuck almost weekly for 6 months for him to lie to me and tell me a new start date on each communication with Chuck. Chuck then lied about almost everything he told me for the hold-up's on materials. Found out that Michelle T**** is filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy 6 months after Charles death. Out $10,500 with nothing to show for it. I guess karma is a ***** for Chuck T**** from Strongsville Ohio!

Contracted with RaeTrent Remodeling to replace all windows and 3 doors in house in January 2022. Job was completed to satisfaction in August 2022. Unfortunately the owner passed away suddenly shortly after. Tried to contact the business to request actual warranty paperwork from the manufacturer, but received no response. There are some issues which will require me to contact either the manufacturer or another company to come look at and will need the warranty paperwork. Not sure what else to do as the business is unresponsive.

We put a large deposit on windows with RaeTrent Remodeling in March 2021. The owner, Charles ***** strung us along for many months, promising the order had be placed. Unfortunately, we stuck with him because we knew that COVID had disrupted the supply chain. We talked with him in August and he assured us that we would receive our windows by November 2022. Now I see that the owner recently died. His cell phone is not accepting messages.

In July 2022, we met with the owner (Chuck *****) at our home for nearly an hour, regarding the replacement of two large floor-to-ceiling windows in our home (one is damaged and getting worse by the day). We signed a contract and, at the owner's request, immediately put down a deposit of $2,200 (via personal check). He told us the window install would likely take place in/around October 2022. A few weeks later, one of his contractors came over and took measurements. Fast forward to the last few weeks (early October) when we discovered that the owner tragically passed away in August. We found out on our own (because he wasn't returning our texts/calls) via a Google search (saw his obituary). We have reached out to the business multiple times (requesting either completion of the job OR a complete refund of our deposit. But no response from the business or the owner's wife. We were hoping not to go down this route, and we are truly sorry for what happened to Chuck, but it has been nearly two months since he passed and the lack of communication/follow up is not right. We are in the process of filing a small claims complaint (although still hoping the business/family will get in touch with us).

Signed contract for siding in March 2022. Was told that they were about 4 months out, so around July/August. Were told that down payment would go to cost of materials, then second payment due when materials arrive to pay crew, and final payment once services were completed. Totally fine, paid down payment in check form. Got several emails about being behind and staff getting sick, understandable. It is now October, and after a few months of hearing nothing, attempted to reach out to company. Website is down, email doesn't work, Voicemail is full. After looking on his personal facebook, he unfortunately passed away. Attempted to reach out to his wife, who was also part of the business, for a refund of our deposit or to actually receive our siding since that was supposed to go to cost of materials. Have heard nothing back and every attempt to contact them is reached by a busy tone/ full/can not receive messages, etc. It is an unfortunate situation but it was a large sum of money for us, so if I do not hear back soon we will be looking into small claims court.

On March 13, 2022 we put a deposit down for window installation. The windows were to be installed in August. We know the owner passed away suddenly. His wife and the company have not responded to our requests for updates or statuses. We have checked with the supplier and our windows have not been paid for. We are requesting a refund at time.

Back in May, 2022 I signed an agreement to replace a sliding door and update a front window. Was first told 14 weeks (mid to end of July install), then was told possibly end of October. Come to find out (not through anyone from the company) that the owner has passed and company is now frozen. No one will answer any concerns and they are sitting on my deposit.

We hired RaeTrent Remodeling of Strongsville OH to install 21 windows in our home. We gave them deposit checks in April ($2190) and June ($5031). There was a delay on there end for several weeks to get our windows measured and the new windows ordered. RaeTrent finally finished measurements and ordered the new windows on August 5th. From the beginning, they told us the timeframe would be approximately 8-10 weeks from order date to delivery and then we could schedule the installation. The last communication from their ownner, Chuck *****, to us was a text he sent me on 8/23/2022 when he said he guessed the windows would be delivered "in the 20's of September." I've been trying to contact him ever since through multiple calls and texts to his phone (************) and he has not responded. That includes more than a dozen phone calls and texts this week. And I have sent multiple messages to their Facebook page - again no response. We are simply looking for an answer about when our windows will be delivered from the factory so we can schedule and install date. The complete lack of communication since 8/23/2022 is incredibly frustrating and worrisome.

We signed a contract for install and purchase of 6 windows and patio door. We waited for many more months then agreed upon and then he suddenly passed away. His wife closed the company and is not responding to any customers or refunding deposits. I also found out he lied and never even ordered my product
