    He demanded that I give him cash before the job was started. So I paid him 1150.00. He told me he would remove the old hot water heater. after he got the money, he refused. He brought someone with him that seemed to know nothing about plumbing. After the job was done, I asked him for a receipt. He claimed he didn’t have the paperwork and would email it to me. I text and emailed him on 2 different occasions and he completely ignored me. He wouldn’t even answer. He told he was going to decide which place to get the hot water heater after he measured it. Then he decided to get one at his company. I don’t even know if he gave me a defective one he had laying around because of his refusal to give me a receipt. I don’t even know if it was put in right because he brought someone with him that didn’t know what he was doing. He claimed the reason I have to give him cash was because his credit card machine wasn’t working. But when he said he didn’t have the paperwork to do a receipt, something didn’t add up. He looked like he was scamming me. I won’t even be able to use the warranty without a receipt. He claimed there was a 6 year warranty. But refuses to give me a receipt. I never heard of a business refusing to give you a receipt for a job done. I asked him as soon as he came in if he was taking the old hot water heater and he said yes. I would never have hired him if I knew that he wasn’t doing.this. I got several callbacks that I could have hired in the next couple days. This didn’t have to be done because my friend turned off the water, drained it , and turned off the gas.
