After inquiring about having my vehicle towed, X Press Auto & Truck 24HR Towing & Roadside claimed that they did automotive repair, and that they could replace the timing belt that my vehicle needed, and whatever else it might have needed. So I agreed to let them tow it to their shop, and just asked that they contact with a quote once they’d determined the repairs that were needed. Instead, they didn’t contact me for about 3 weeks and just tells me that my vehicle was “finished”, that I could pick it up, and that I owed them $2,760.74, yet they’d never contacted with a quote or for anything else (although I’d tried to get in contact with them multiple times, but was told every time that nobody was available). I did not authorize them to go ahead with these “repairs”, but hesitantly scraped up enough money to pay for it and went to pick up the car. Afterwards, on my way home my car was exhibiting ALL of the same issues that it was when it went into their shop, dash indicators and all. Took it back as soon as I possibly could (hadn’t driven in between) and dropped it off again). Another 3 weeks later, the owner, who id never spoken to, calls me and tells me I need a new motor and when I declined, gets very pushy. I had it towed straight from X Press to ******** **********, who informed that they did not replace the parts that they claimed to have, including the timing belt, which was still the factory belt when they received it. They fixed the vehicle within days, and I kept all of the old parts upon ******’s removal. Xpress effectively did nothing, replaced nothing, and still billed me for $2,760.74. This is not a business, this is theft, and there is verifiable proof of it all.

Consumer truck broke down passing through ****. He paid the business $3260.00 for repairs which were under warranty. Truck broke down again on way back to **********. Consumer had to pay for additional tow and hotel expenses. The diagnosis for 2nd repair was that Xpress did not lubricate the diesel engine and the replacement part was burned out. Consumer sent photos, videos, etc to the business. He was told by Xpress that he needs to send the parts to them which would cost additional $700 to ship.

The repair this customer received was a rebuilt rear end for his semi.  This part has a nationwide warranty that we are happy to help him with.  As we explained to the customer, we need the defective rear end returned to us so we can send it back to the manufacturer for a warranty claim.  The manufacturer will inspect the part and determine if there is a manufacturer defect and issue (or not issue) refunds based on the determination. We have not received this part and cannot proceed with a warranty claim at this time.  Ideally the customer should have contacted us as soon as he was aware that there was a problem with the part so we could direct him to a repair facility that deals directly with the manufacturer making this process much easier. Unfortunately, that did not happen and the customer proceeded with a repair facility of his choosing.  We are obligated to abide by the manufacturers guidelines for warranty procedures.
