      2 years ago I hired *********** ******** to fix 2 sinks that were leaking in my rental property located near the University of ******. (I had used him previously once or twice and there were no issues). He collected $500 and informed the work was complete. Later in the day I used the worked on sinks and both were leaking as if no work was done. I tried calling him to fix it and he never returned any calls. He did not tell the truth when he collected the money. He didn't fix the problem. He lied.

      While in process of selling my house the buyer's inspector reported plumbing issues and a uneven sidewalk. The buyer was to reimburse me but since I was still the legal owner I was to hire the contractor. I used ***** ******** in the past afew times about 5 to 10 years ago and never had any problems. I contacted him to start the 2 projects at a estimated cost of 1400. He said he would rearrange his schedule in order to fast track the projects which I wanted. I agreed to pay 850 upfront for materials and some of the labor. He was to begin the next day. He didnt work on it the next day because of a flat tire on his work truck the nex morning...he didnt carry a spare tire. That was worrysome. In the meantime the buyer was informed that ***** ******** was the contractor. The buyer did not want to use ***** because of the bad job he did on the buyers daughters house. So I agreed to get another contractor thinking ***** would a least return some of my money as he did not do any work on the project other than the estimate. I nformed ***** and he agreed that a partial refund was in order. And said he would bring it the following Monday. Never showed and came up with a lame excuse. But for sure he said Friday at 5. Well he never showed and another unbelievable excuse. I said why not just send me 250 , which i thought very generous on my part and at leat I would get something even though it would have been an underpayment. Since he did 0 work for 850 and the materials were approx 225. And he could get a refund on the materials. He said he would put a check in my mail box at a certain day and time so I could be home if l wanted or not. Guess what he never sent the money or put it in mailbox. I used him in the past so I thought l could trust him but he is not trustworthy. He is a compulsive liar. I wouldnt mind giving up the 850 if it could be used for some mental health counciling that he needs.
