The business stated the consumers mother was married 4 different times and had 4 sets of children who did not get along or in agreeance. The mother prepared the arrangements and everything on the contract was guaranteed. The additional costs were due to her living in Alabama and the business being asked to do more than what was on the contract. All of this was disclosed upfront. **** signed off on the purchasing agreement. There was no money agreed upon or prepaid for the expenses regarding the gravestone. The consumer was informed the marker company would do it and the cost was $265. There was no order or money given to give to the marker company in order to be contracted. The insurance was to cover some additional expenses related to living out of state. There was over 4 hours of conversation between the business and consumer regarding the contract. The final conversation ended with the chief of police being called to mediate the situation due to the threatening manner. The consumer is able to contract someone else out in order to get the headstone engraved. the consumer was in the building 2 times and another conversation was had over the phone in which the chief was called. All times the consumer was upset and threatening.

The consumer stated his mother was married 3 times and had six children by his father. Was the first female probation officer in ***** ******. With a masters degree at age 50. The consumer also stated none of what the business stated is true about his family at all. The guy the consumer talked to about the engraving was actually **** and not ***** he wanted to clarify. The consumer was reading the wrong paper. Stated they have accepted the little bit that was added on for extras beyond what was guaranteed and paid for, and it does not add up to $12,000.00. The business is lying and trying to get over.
