    Written in June 2022:
    I gave a check for 10k March 18, 2022 for a whole house rewire on the home I had just bought that has knob and tube wiring. He showed up with his crew on day one, got my washer and dryer up and running, and disappeared for a month. I got his number from my realtor to see what was going on. He sent 2 guys over for a week, and vanished again until I called and complained. Then he sent 2 guys over for a week and vanished again. I called him in June, he sent 2 guys over for 2 days. I guess at this point I have to call him and remind him that we exist every day??? This shouldn't be going on for this long. How does a rewire go on for months on end? I've never been so stressed over a contractor! At this point I need to have another contractor come in and tell me what he is owed for what's done and I need my money back. I need this to just be over with already!!!

    *UPDATE* It has now been 8 months and I'm still being given the run around. Now I call and he just makes excuses and says they'll be here next week, and no one even shows up anymore. His guy has a doctor appointment, his guy is sick, he only has one guy and he's overbooked. I call, and call and get excuse after excuse.

    I think it's time for me to get estimates from other electricians, and him to give me back what it's going to cost to get my house finished. You would think a customer who pays you 10 thousand dollars for a job would be treated as more than an afterthought. 8 months so far for a job that shouldn't have even taken a month.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    He called and said they would be here the following week, then called with excuses for 4 days. They showed up and put in a light on a Friday after being told they'd be here Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday. I haven't seen them since. I called him last Friday, he said they'd be here Monday, Tuesday at the latest. I haven't seen or heard from him yet and it's Thursday. So they've showed up one time for 3-4 hours in the past 3 weeks. We are now into month 9 of a job that should NOT have even taken a month.
