    I putting in a complaint as my AC in my unit has been not working for the past 2 weeks. The place has been inhabitable as just walking 5 feet in it breaks me into a sweat. I have put several work orders in and they refuse to do anything and say that they are “awaiting parts”. If they are awaiting parts to fix it then I would like a temporary solution immediately like a portable AC installed or my rent being voided for this month as I have not been able to live in my apartment. I have called them several times in which they told me they would call me back with an update on the situation but have never called me back forcing me to call them everyday for an update. My work orders they said have been completed and then i would come back to my apartment being burning hot which is not okay especially in this summer heat. I had to open several work orders as the problem was not being solved.

    My lease with Edge1120 ended 31Jul23. I was informed a couple weeks after that I would be receiving my full $250 security deposit back. Despite having provided my new address multiple times, I have yet to receive my refund check. I have received only 3 emails in response to my multiple follow ups in the past 4 months. I have been unable to reach them via phone, always directed to an answering service or my call is ended. Every interaction with them, both now and during my time as a tenant has been unprofessional, and every person who works there gives me a different story. I have never seen them truly resolve a solution. I would ultimately like my $250 refund as well as additional compensation for the distress they have caused me. However, willing to settle for just the $250 if absolutely necessary. I moved out of my apartment 9 months before my lease ended due to their inability to resolve issues. The random roommate I was placed with was dangerous and verbally abusive, however I was never granted a way out. I was forced to continue to pay rent on the rest of my lease as they would not allow lease termination. They also did nothing to try to find someone else to takeover my lease. I would just like my money back so I can stop dealing with this horrible establishment.

    The washer has been broken since 05/11/23 and I have not received any update as to when it will be repaired. Due to the washer not draining, mildew/mold has started growing in the washer. After going into the office several times, I was continually told that a part needs to be delivered for the washer to be fixed yet I have not received any indication as to when it will arrive. Since 04/10/23, the fridge will stop working for a week and when maintenance comes in after 3-5 days, it will be fixed for a few days before it resumes to the broken state. The fridge was broken for the last week causing all of us to be unable to eat any food left in the fridge. Maintenance came, 5 days after the request was placed. Since 06/10/23, the garbage disposal will get clogged despite being run at least once a day causing the dishwasher to flood. There is now mold in the dishwasher, which we have never used since moving in due to the issues mentioned above. My roommates and I have tried to contact the office by phone and in person but are never given any answers and are dismissed in our concerns. We would like to live in a safe housing condition without mold and working appliances. Monthly rent has been regularly paid. Filed complaint by calling the office and reported using email address *************** as well. Apartment address is #**** for reference.
