I tecently had a tattoo done for a fund raiser for the ****************************, my granddaughter also. *** made a stencil of the tattoo I wanted. He said it was a bit blurry but proceeded anyway. He placed it on my right lower leg. I.was not shown the stencil before he placed it on my leg and NEVER showed it to me. The tattoo was put on crooked and does not look like the picture that he said he could do. It was my first question to him - can you do this. He assured me he could. It did not look like the picture I presented to him and he put it on crooked. I went back the next day and he did some more work on it. *** told me to come back after it heals to see what else they could do to straighten it up. I called the owner of the shop, told him what happened and he was the most disrespectful Person I have ever talked to. He blamed this on me, told me *** was an apprentice and even called me a ***** for complaining. My granddaughters tattoo did not look like the picture either but she had to go back to ******* so she couldnt go back for repair. I agreed to go back the third time but truthfully the way he talked to me scared me so much that I would not step into that place ever again and I would not let THEM ever cover up this tattoo. The owner of the shop was rude and disrespectful because I complained. Not appropriate for a business owner. I went to another shop and they told me this could not be repaired only with a complete cover up. Now I am stuck with a crooked tattoo for the rest of my life.

    Business Response

Good afternoon my name is ******************* an apprentice here at thriller ink. I would like to counter this complaint by explaining what she already had explained i did indeed have her and her granddaughter check placement prior to executing the tattoo as i do with every single tattoo that enters this facility. She had returned the day following the benefit to have her tattoo fixed at which point i fixed it in the exact way she requested. I had even explained out of the kindness of my heart if she needed anything else fixed to please return and i would gladly take care of anything she needed. Several days later she had requested that **** the owner of the shop take a look at it but not only that but, she also wanted her money back which was for a fundraiser for Fulton county humane society which was donated to them as part of this fundraiser. As for the granddaughters tattoo it was done completely perfect and followed the exact outline i provided as part of the flash art work for the event itself. All in all even after having an extremely entitled attitude we still offered to either fix or cover the piece to suit her needs in which she demanded the funds back from both her and her granddaughters tattoo. The owner of the shop offered numerous options in order to fix the tattoo that had already been fixed anyways when she became beyond rude to him and began to be vulger. At said point **** the shop owner set a date to have her come in and she to our surprise did not show or call to reschedule i feel we have done what we can as a shop to help assist her in the best ways possible, however any option that was provided was turned down.

    sincerely,
