    I went to get a estimate to do work. When I said I couldn't afford that price they put my truck in a impound lot. They informed I needed to pay $150 cash only in order to get my truck back. I was told no fee for estimate but when I said I couldn't afford it at this time is when they said I needed to pay $150 to get it back.

    Our parts manager clearly stated, one hour minimum prior to being brought in. This was approved by the customer. After looking at the wiring atrocity that was on both sides to this vehicle, we explained that in order to fix this we would need to replace both the truck side as well as the plow side. The customer then refused as he claims it works. Whether it does or not, we cannot repair one side of this job as we will be blamed if the other side should fault. Our policy it to make sure it leaves in the correct approved repair rather than partial repair. Prior to this interaction the customer came in and we showed them what the plow is supposed to look like, even supplied a diagram free of charge should the customer decide to take on the task themselves. 

    Furthermore, as we have repeatedly explained on numerous social media posts, some more vulgar than others, please call and ask for the owner. We would have been glad to reconcile or find some solution for this customer. After the continuous berating that took place, we find it in our best interest to not entertain hosting this customer.  Apparently there was one call made to our office, however, the call was ended on behalf of the caller prior to the owner picking it up.

    I am rejecting this response because: They told me there would be a 1 hour minimum to work on equipment. They never told me upfront there would be a charge to look at it for a quote to repair. I have done business with abco for many years and this is first time I heard of a charge to look at for a quote. Yes i have said the truth about this past experiance on social media as well as past great experances I have had with abco. I had a friend with me when I was there to get a quote and after hearing I had to pay to get my truck back he said there should be a sign on wall saying a 1 hour minimum for quotes as they never stated there would be a charge to get a quote. As stated I have done business with abco for many years and have never heard of a charge for a quote. Everything on my equipment worked fine and when I took my there I asked for a quote to look at one area that mice got into and chewed on wires. They never got on truck side of wiring as i drive daily.
