    On June 17th, 2023, I went in to have Ombre powder brows done. The owner of Escape Spa, LLC did not disclose to me that she was a beginner still in the practice phase of learning. She portrayed herself as an expert that was able to do exactly what I wanted. The cost was $299. She did not do what was asked. I had to go directly to a correction professional. She said the artist was a beginner and was supposed to disclose that information to me as a customer. I have to go through very painful saline removal treatments in hopes that the pigment will be lightened or removed. The treatments are $200 a piece and no way to tell how many I'll need. I have very swollen eyes. I'm not able to drive because I cannot see well. My doctor is calling in prednisone to help.

    We both worked together to create the best color and style. Including a color patch test on client's skin. I explained that the color is most bold on days 1-3. I offered a free touch up in 6-8 weeks. She left happy. It is normal to experience a little brow shock in the first few weeks of healing. When client emailed about dark lines, I offered her an emergency removal that needed to be done within 24-48 hours after her service. I was available on June 18 to do the removal. She did not accept my offer. In regards to my pricing, it is lower for the reason as I am a newer artist building my portfolio and skillset- hence why she paid $299 for her brows. She scheduled her appointment thru my ad campaign.

    I attempted to contact Escape Spa and voice my concerns, however, there was o communication. I sent pictures and told her that the removal professional agreed that they were not done correctly. I will have to go through several painful, costly processes to have them removed. I would have never had a tattoo on my face if I would have known that she was a beginner. She portrayed herself as experienced and that she could obtain the look I was going for. I did not get what I was looking for at all. The removal professional also does brows and cold point out all the mistakes made. This is very concerning because this is a permanent procedure. She should have to disclose that she is still in practice stages. The price was low, however, it was advertised as a facebook special, NOT a beginner special.
