****** came over to investigate an issue with my main sewer line. He snaked the line and tried to get it clear but the material was too hard to get the snake through. He recommended opening the line under the basement floor and replacing the pipe. I agreed to pay him to fix the issue inside my home and he stated he did not do external work. He came back to do the job, replaced about 6 feet of my line and buried the pipe again, pouring concrete on top. I was worried about this issue persisting and needed more work to be done so I specifically asked him if he was certain that he had gotten everything out and that it was safe to have someone come out and replace the self-leveling concrete, flooring, and baseboards that needed to be ripped up and he assured me that it was all clear. I had the flooring replaced and within a few days I was having the same exact issues. I called ****** to have him come back out and check the line and see if his work wasn't holding up. He ran a handheld snake and claimed that he wasn't getting caught on anything and referred me to a different plumber because he was certain it was outside the house and not where he replaced the line. The plumber he referred came out, put a camera in the line and found the issue not 6 inches from where ****** stopped replacing the line. Meaning it would have been completely visible while he had the line open and he decided to close it up and have me pay for floors and the repairs. He then refused to come back and fix it nor help pay for the floors that I would have to rip up again. ****** told me that he would refund my money and wash his hands of this situation. It's been over a month and no money has come back, he has blocked my phone number so I cannot call him anymore, and his front desk clerk will not return voicemails that I have left every day for the last week and a half. $2300 gone and I'm going to have to pay someone else that amount again to fix his mistakes.
