My self **** ****** and fiancé ********* ******* has had an issue with Wilson Tire not honoring the 55,000 mile warranty that was sold to us on the day 22 February 2024. ********* ******* who is listed as the sole owner of vehicle in question, will be me named as[SH] and my self **** ****** who I will refer to as the following [CE] for the entirety of this compliant. On the morning of February 22, 2024 we decided it was time to upgrade all four tires on our only family suv. The vehicle is registered as a 2011 Ford Flex and for the remaining complaint I will continue to abbreviate vehicle in question as it follows [FF]. We have continually maintained proper maintenance, we have always followed manufactures recommendations of correct fluids, we have vigorously maintained a schedule of preventative maintenance oil changes, tire rotations, and tire pressure checks every 2500 mile or every 3-4 months. We never go more than24000 miles or every 4 months with our a vehicle inspection normally done by CE or Wilson Tire. FF has become our family safest and and only automobile since purchasing in 2022. SH and CE came to decision to purchase the Michelle's Legacy directly from Wilson Tire located on Wirpole. We also elected Wilson's to mount and balance all 4 brand new tires. We was informed by Wilson Employees and website on a page named about our tires" that the tire will come standard with a 55,000 mile warranty and it also has a 12 month no hassle return/repair on the Mechelle Legacy as long as we keep it under the recorded 55,000 miles. On Sunday June 22 of 2024 nearly 4 months after purchasing said tires the rear tires on FF were becoming faded, and visually unsafe. SH with the automobile called FF to Wilsons tire where they informed her it was a mounting issue not taken care of by owner SH. They also informed her there was nothing possible they could do other than sell her another set $ )850

      Business Response

      Date: 07/09/2024

***** ****** Called ********* on 7/8/2024 and she said the 2 rear tires on her Flex were worn down to the steelbelt on one shoulder of the tire. I told her having excessive shoulder wear on one shoulder is probably due to the vehicle being out of alignment. ********* said she had an appointment for an alignment the next day. She manufactures tread wear warranties don't cover premature/irregular wear due to a vehicle being misaligned.

Even though the premature/irregular tire wear wasn't Wilson Tire or the tire manufacturer (Michelin) fault Wilson Tire is willing to replace the 2 rear tires at 50% off regular price if the replacement tires are purchased from Wilson Tire. This is a very unfortunate event but we are willing to help out to keep the customer happy.
