    The primary phone number listed just about everywhere for UC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is ###-###-####. HOWEVER, if you call this number and choose option 3 "Speak to our staff" the call seems to go no where, it just rings and rings and rings forever and NEVER goes to voicemail either. So how is ANYONE supposed to connect with UC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine if their primary listed phone number is not working ???!!!???

    Good morning,

    I called our telephony team and they reviewed the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine number of ###-###-#### option #3 and this does ring to their department. I tried this myself and was able to connect to a representative. I called *** ***** and he will try the number later today.  If he gets through, he will close this matter with you.  If not, he will call me back and I will work with telephony to have them review this issue again.

    On Oct 30th 2023 I went to clinic for annual physical exam. I made appointment for physical. Doctor did my physical and send me for blood work which is part of physical exam. Physical is covered by insurance . I don't have to pay any thing out of pocket. I received a bill of $211 and when I called billing they said that I came there first time and these are charges for that. I told them that I was there for physical exam and codes need to be corrected so that it can be paid by insurance. Billing did not change the code. On my next visit in 2024 , I talked to doctor which agreed that I was there for physical. Even after my numerous attempts to correct it which included twice a conference call with insurance company, it was never corrected. Now it is given to collection. I have to pay more for blood work also because the code was not corrected. All it needed was to put correct codes. I should have been told upfront if there was going to be additional charges so that I can make a decision if I want to go to different clinic of pay extra. No where on billing it says i was there for physical exam.
