    My personal opinion is that you would be best off to find a different, more professional land surveyor to use. If you do utilize Pell's services, ensure everything is handled in writing. Do not rely on traditional ***** County values and standing behind what you say over the phone. Requested the boundary lines on a parcel be ran prior to timbering. No legal updates, just run the lines and set up markers. The conversation with Ty indicated it would take most of a day to accomplish. A minor miscommunication on meeting location delayed the start of the project, but his employees arrived at 11:37am with the expectation of only running a single line of the overall boundary, rather than the entire boundary. Begrudgingly, we began the survey process and it went smoothly overall until the base station battery died with about 70% of the boundary finished. In my personal ignorance, assuming they'd stand behind what was agreed upon verbally, I paid in full as requested when they left for the day. They were unprepared with an additional battery pack for the base station apparently. They were loaded and left our site at 2:49pm, so overall the $1,000 payment covered 3 hours and 12 minutes worth of work. Four weeks, multiple phone calls and voicemails and no response whatsoever speaks loudly to their lacking professionalism. I will be using another surveyor for the other ~6 parcels we were looking at updating.
