My child was in the infant room at this facility from 08/2023-02/2024. At first, everything was great, then I started to see the downward spiral after both the director and assistant director left around the same time in December. When the directors left, the daycare was being ran by the owner ****** *****. ***** ***** (owner) in my observation does not seem to be passionate about children at all. She has 0 years of childcare experience. She has shown to be unprofessional by doing things like gossiping between parent and staff. I saw her on the class camera cleaning the floor with a Lysol wipe and then using the same wipe to clean the chairs and trays that the babies sit on and eat from. The infant carpet was dirty. Upon picking up my child from this center one day, he had a huge knot on his forehead that was not there when I dropped him off. When I asked about what happened no one knew, even with there being cameras in the room, I still have not received an incident report about it till this day. There are constantly new teachers in the infant room (and other rooms) due to low staffing, most of them are not oriented to the babies or their schedules, as a few weeks ago when I picked my child up close to 5:30 pm, he did not have his afternoon lunch or last bottle of the day, both were hours behind. When I asked the teacher why he did not receive his meals her response was “well thats what happens when you put 2 substitute teachers in an infant room, and he didn’t cry”. I have heard staff complaints of dead mice in the center, though I have not personally seen any. Also, when your ready to withdrawal your child from this daycare, once you see it for what it really is, they require a 2 week notice. So that’s another 2 weeks you have to keep your child in a place that you already don’t feel comfortable sending your child to unless you find care elsewhere but you still have to pay 2 weeks worth of overly priced tuition.
