  I would not recommend anybody go here for any repairs on their car. My wife took her car in to get her ** looked at. They apparently found $5,600 in other repairs that were needed which is almost twice as much as the car is worth. We were skeptical so went to a different shop. They looked at the car and said the ** was the only present concern and quoted us $700. When I called Ernies and asked for clarification on the estimate and asked if they saw a pretty young woman walk in and know they could upsell her on unnecessary repairs they hung up on me and ignore 4 more of my calls. I called from a different line just trying to get an explanation and the *** said would you like to try coming at me differently? Mind you I was not rude, loud, or cursing. I said no id like to come at you just the way i am He once again hung up on me. Very unprofessional and seemingly willing to scam unwitting customers.

  Ernie's automotive had my truck for over a month and only contacted me once. Ever time I would call, they were rude and would huff and puff as if I were bothering them. I only called once weekly to get an update. They told me that they set the timing on my truck, but when they spoke with my father, they told him that they couldn't find the wire to disconnect to do so. My father had to tell them where the wire was located. They said they did a fuel pressure check and that was fine. They never found out what was wrong with my Chevy. I took my truck to another shop, within an hour I received a call from them. They told me my fuel pump was bad. Unqualified machines at Ernie's. Beware.
