    This company installed a deck for me last April. Six weeks ago, I noticed a warped board due to improper installation. I have tried to reach the owner of the company, Chris W******** for five weeks via text and voicemail with no response. I have been left with no recourse but to contact you. My previous deck was 25 years old and there was no issue like this. I want this board replaced. If it involves removing adjacent boards, so be it. I would appreciate your intervention on this matter.

    We had to go back and look when this job was completed. We did this work on April 11th 2022. Which is outside of our one year warranty. I have never gotten a call or an email in this matter. It doesn’t sound like much so all she had to do is contact me and we would take care of it. I’m still willing to grab it for ********. I just need to know her phone number. 


    This was technically outside of our warranty. But we went ahead and replaced it. This case is done.

    I had this company remove a wood fence and install a new one on April 19, 2022 for a cost of $1550. It was cold that day-installers definitely didn’t want to do this that day. Demolished fence was placed on grass in front yard. When they left, mess in yard was left (p/u next day) and sawdust was on driveway. I sent Chris check without inspecting my fence. Nails were visible on boards to the point of the injuring someone. Fence was not level, posts were damaged, gate was not properly installed and in the middle of fence and gate a smaller board was put in to fill a gap. Entire job was unprofessional. I called, texted and emailed Chris W******* (owner) multiple times and I have copies of those. He’d say he would be out but never came. My work came with a one year warranty so I recently texted Chris again to see if he’d respond. No response. I’m so disappointed that a contractor would not want to make this right or at least come and look at it. I’m 74 and have been fortunate not to have encountered a contractor like this before. I have pictures showing all the bad work this company did. I’m filling this complaint because Chris W******* should not be in business if this is the way he does business. I did send him all the pictures!! Do I want money returned? Not necessarily. But I do want my review to be read by people looking at Designer Framing and Trim Chris W******* for any construction projects.

    4.20.2023 Chris W******* called BBB. He said he was going to call consumer to see that her concerns are and asked that BBB call him back in a few days if he does not get back to BBB before then.

    It’s resolved as far as I’m concerned. He isn’t going to do anything and I want no other contact with him. He got the message that he did a horrible job and scammed me but I don’t think he cares. Thanks for following up with him. Keep the complaint so public can see. Complaint resolved. Thanks.
