  In approx 2010 we built an outdoor kitchen using timbertech decking railings lights bench seating etc. it was our retirement project and choose timbertech because they said they were the world leaders with the best warranty in the industry. 100% for a full 50 years! Approx in 2014 the decking faded badly with black spots. Contacted timbertech - they told me to get estimates to replace the job. My estimates were higher than they wanted so they asked if I would accept someone they choose. I said as long as he does good work. They said their product was defective so I need to choose another color. I picked rustic bronze and they rep told me to consider harvest bronze as it was tested thoroughly and have had no issues he said in 2011 we got a new vendor and this is free from defects. I said I want the one without defects so I agreed. No complaints with the Amish guy they sent he did nice work. Today, I hear timbertech settled on various class action suits on…… Harvest bronze - the one I was told was safe free from defects. I sent them photos of some of my boards turning Snow White while others do not even resemble the original color, and they responded today that they would like my near 80 year old husband to get up 15 feet in the air and take pictures from every available angle. We can not do that! I asked them to send a rep and he could take as many pictures as he deemed necessary from what ever angle he wanted I have not heard back. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we built this to enjoy in our retirement as mtce free was important to us at our age. I feel betrayed by this company not once but twice. ?? yes I have emails to verify what I have said.

  Complaints about xlm products failing, no proper testing was done prior to release. My xlm decking has lost its color and boards have turned white as in the pictures I submitted.

  From a premiere contractor for timbertech. U can see they declared their warranty covers installation costs. Hopefully even though you are reading this you haven't had to experience the process of filing a warranty claim when a product didn't perform as anticipated. If you have had to file a warranty claim, you probably realize that most warranties cover product replacement only and not labor.
