      Now over a year because no one will help us. We purchased a ****** ***** sectional couch along with a 5 year protection plan. Within a few weeks two sections of our couch busted and the seat area collapsed. We called Fergusons to advise them of the issue. They were unwilling to help and only forwarded us to the protection plan company. The protection plan company has not done a thing for us since contacting them. The protection plan had no problem taking our $284.31 but won't repair or replace our couch. Ferguson made out and had no problem taking our $3134.19 for a couch that is now useless. Neither company provided good customer service and neither company had been any help with repairing, replacing or refunding us. We are now stuck with a living room where we can no longer sit and enjoy TV or entertain friends or family. We are out $3418.50 and are looking to purchase new furniture that will only cost us more money. At this point, we would like a full refund for the damaged couch.

      I am responding to this claim for customer ******* *** ********.  We spoke to the customer today and several weeks ago about the Furniture issues that he has been having with his sectional. We responded to him as soon as we received the information from you. We have reached out to him with several options of resolving the problem and we feel that the customer is fully satisfied with the results.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.



      My response to the original complaint is as stated.   ********* Furniture Protection has done nothing to help us in the matter.  Upon receiving the complaint Ferguson House of Furniture had reached out to offer replacement of the broken pieces only.

      If the replacement happens we would be pleased, however,  we are currently at 4 months now and still without a couch.  This has gone beyond  just needing a new couch.  It had interrupted our lifestyle and does not permit for family and friends to visit. 

      My wife and I have been patient and plan on giving it into November.  Then we will go out and buy new furniture so that we will have seating for the holidays.

      As for Ferguson Furniture,  a promise to replace without results is just meaningless words.
