    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID .********, and find Mediation is necessary.

eft. I stayed on the roof and took pictures of the work. The crew only took out 2 of the 3 spots they were supposed to replace, and that is why there is still a sag in the roof.

They left nails that went through the shingles. They took all of the gutter guards off, and did not replace them, and they are missing.

There is still damaged flashing which needs to be repaired. Three screens and one screen door which needs reapired. They broke an outside decorative light which now needs to be replaced.

They reused flashing on one of the boots, but they should not have as this has the potential for leaks. The boot is not secured.

Installation poor on vent pipe and re-used flashing.

they dropped metal down the valley and the metal scratched two of the four panels on the garage door.

They failed to use padding on the ladder and dented my gutters.

I wasn't going to say anything to him about the trash and stuff.

**** came by unannounced, said he didn't have my number, ridiculous, I showed him all of the damage. He said he would take care of everything.

On Friday, a guy came back out who put **** on the flashing, which isn't the correct way to repair it, but that was all he did.

I called him back. **** replied in an email he wasn't doing anything until he got paid. I reminded him the job was financed through *********************** he said he would go the legal way, if he didn't get a check.

I contacted Service **********, and they said they can see a contract for financing, but it's not complete. They told me to contact the owner and tell him to complete the contract. I emailed ***** ***** asking him to contact **** about getting the financing contract completed.

This "complaint" has numerous false statements contained in it. We are working together to move forward from this situation amicably.

I am rejecting the contractor's response. There was not 1 photo that showed the tear off of the compromised decking. The replacement of new decking and the area that was torn off are not provided. All photos shown here were photos that are not applicable to the situation. The mediation specifically stated that these photos needed to be of the decking that was torn off and replaced. There is no photos showing this repair that the contractor stated that was done. Any photos that show the decking is from the original tear out of the decking. This is just a bunch of photos of the site. Some photos are not even of my property. None of the photos provided show the information that was requested.

    I reject the business response.

The agreement was to pay $300 to correct issues on roof replacement. If the contractor send new photos that shows that the business corrected all of the issues with the roof, only $1500 needed to be paid out.

The contractor did not provide the new photos. There has to be evidence of this in order to agree to the $1500.

Because the contractor did not provide new photos, the agreement at the Mediation was to pay out the $3000.

I signed the mediation agreement that the contractor refused to sign.

I reduced my offer in the Mediation from $8000 to $3000.  This was to show that I would work with the Mediation process.

The contractor gave a verbal commitment during the mediation to pay out the $3000. I agree to go to Arbitration, unless the contractor pays the $3000 that was agreed to during the mediation. I see Abortion as the only option if this is not honored.

So the contractor gets unlimited time to respond ( 3 months last time ) and I get the account closed because I am at week two on responding.

I notified you on the contractors contract being reviewed by a attorney. I don't understand this at all.

I will pass on this correspondence that you sent me.
