I called on 8/30 to order a delivery of 5 yards of NATURAL mulch. The person taking the order asked if I would like for the driver to call when they were on their way. I said yes.

I heard the air brake on 8/31 at 7:30 a.m. I wasn't completely dressed, but I hadn't gotten a call yet, so I expected them to knock on the door or ring the doorbell. They did neither.

When I came out (at 7:39) they had already left. They had dumped 5 yards of dyed black mulch directly in front of my garage door, on a gravel driveway, six feet from the old mulch pile where it was supposed to go (see photos).

The mulch on the gravel drive does its own kind of damage. Attempting to move the mulch off of the gravel drive does an additional kind of damage to that drive.

I called the office before 8:00 a.m. to say that the delivery was completely unacceptable and I needed to be able to get out of my garage. He asked me how soon I needed to get out. I said by 2:00 p.m.

Two people showed up around noon with hand tools to get me out of the garage. One of them introduced himself as "the manager." He said the person who delivered the load was a "college boy."

They shifted some of the material on one side of the pile and said, "There, you can get out of the garage if you drive through the grass." The manager told me to remind him when I called next time and he'd make it up to me.

The damage done to the driveway is well in excess of the cost of a full load of mulch. The inconvenience caused by their driver's lack of training is completely unacceptable. If he is indeed a "college boy," then they should train him before setting him loose with the keys to the dump truck!

If the man who knocked on my door was indeed the manager, THAT was his opportunity to make it right. He failed miserably!

I went over this situation with our people at Eco-Green on Friday afternoon, I then stopped by and talked with **** ****** yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and went over it with her, her and I agreed to us sending someone back out and cleaning up the mulch residue in the driveway for her,  I also attached a picture of what is there now.  I am planning to have someone out the end of this week to do that.

She seemed to be happy that I stopped by, and with the solution to take care of it.

They did exactly as I requested and fixed the driveway.  I'm satisfied with their response.

Thank you for your help.  It wouldn't have happened without you.
